Aspen Institute
Event

Herbert Bayer was an Austrian graphic designer, typeface designer, sculptor, and architect part of the Bauhaus movement, who later moved on to work in the US. He lived the later part of his life in Aspen, Colorado where he designed the Aspen Institute and his works are featured there today. This aprés ski style event celebrates the 70 years of the institute and is inspired by the surrounding landscape and Bayer's geometric style.

Bayer’s 1957 Kaleidoscreen Sculpture served as the design inspiration for the event.
